Free Diagnostics
1. How does this Free Diagnosis run a test on my device?
A: Our engineers will use the professional diagnosing tools to run an overall test on the device, which covers 10+ categories and 30+ detailed types, such as device performance, audio, display, touchscreen, camera, charging ability, SIM card, buttons, fingerprint identification and so on.
2. Can I request for repairing the device if diagnosed an issue?
A: If your device is still under warranty, and the issue is covered by warranty, then your device can be repaired for free. If not, we will quote you a fee for repair, and you can decide whether to accept or not.
3. If out-of-warranty issue has been diagnosed, and I would like to give up repair, do I still need to pay for the diagnosis?
A: No, you don't. During the HUAWEI Service PLUS period, HUAWEI will afford the diagnosis fee for you.
4. How long will the diagnosis take?
A: Usually takes 20 minutes. It may be longer in case of special situation.
5. Will HUAWEI retain my personal data during the diagnosis?
A: We promise you that your personal data will not be retained.
6. Will my personal data be deleted after the diagnosis?
A: The diagnosis will not delete your personal data. We suggest you to back up your data before the diagnosis service.
