How many apps are there in the AppGallery?

The Huawei AppGallery also has over one million applications worldwide, and has had over 180 billion cumulative application downloads in the past year. Currently, there are more than 60,000 applications which can access HMS Core worldwide.

Does the AppGallery have my Canadian apps?

We are rapidly building the Huawei AppGallery to be an open gateway to thousands of popular apps from all over the world. AppGallery is the 3rd largest app marketplace in the world, and new international and local Canadian apps are added to the gallery regularly. While you can find internationally poppular apps such as TikTok, Snapchat, Microsoft Office, and Aliexpress, you can also find local Canadian apps such as Wattpad, Flipp, The Weather Network, Cineplex Mobile and Indigo.

How do I get my apps onto my Huawei device without the Google Play Store? What if I can't find my favourite apps in Huawei AppGallery?

There are several ways to install your favorite apps on your new HUAWEI smartphone. Here are three easy ways:

1) You can easily transfer your favorite apps from your old to your new smartphone using Phone Clone

2) You can find and install many popular apps via the AppGallery, such as Cineplex Mobile, Flipp and Wattpad

3) You can download Petal Search (with Find App widget) from HUAWEI AppGallery, it's an search engine app that allows users to search for and find the things they need – including apps, news, images and more – directly from their home screen.

If you still can't find your desired app, you can add your desired app to "Wish List" in AppGallery. We will notify you when the app is available in HUAWEI AppGallery.

Can I use other app stores on this phone?

Huawei AppGallery is the official app store for Huawei devices and comes pre-installed on all new Huawei devices (e.g. Mate 30 Pro and P40 series), Google Play Store would not be pre-installed in the upcoming Huawei devices such as Mate 30 Pro and P40 series.

Can I get Google apps on my phone?

Currently it’s not possible to download Google apps on new Huawei devices. However, all new Huawei smartphones (e.g. Mate 30 Pro and P40 series) come with pre-installed easy-to-use apps such as Huawei Browser, to easily browse the web, and Huawei Cloud, for safe and secure cloud storage. Google services such as YouTube and Google Maps, can be used via the Huawei Browser, simply by visiting the destination web page online.
