Zurich, November 10, 2015: After the announcement of the highly successful performance results for the third quarter of 2015 (a seven percentage points increase in mid-to-high-end device shipments over the previous quarter), the Huawei Consumer Business Group (CGB) has even more good news to offer:

Thanks to the strong partnership with mobilezone, Swiss customers can see and experience for themselves the enhanced Huawei mobile and wearables product range in 24 stores in Switzerland. The first Huawei shop-in-shop in a mobilezone branch is located in Letzipark Zurich. Design and technology enthusiasts will be able to find everything the smartphone and wearables market currently has to offer.

The Huawei flagship device MATE S, which was officially presented for the first time in Berlin in September, is only one of the product highlights at mobilezone. With the Huawei Mate S, Huawei succeeded in fundamentally changing how people interact with their devices. Innovative touch features improve usability and functionality providing more opportunities for creative ideas. Want an example?

The Fingerprint Sense 2.0 is an upgraded version of the Huawei Mate 7’s advanced chip level security and single-tap unlock technology. The new version is faster, more sensitive and has more accurate self-learning functions to recognize fingerprints. Users can now also control notifications, scroll through photos, take selfies, answer phone calls and even dismiss an alarm with the fingerprint sensor. The Huawei Smart Knuckle Technology 2.0 also has been attracting more and more followers as it provides a host of new features at the simple tap of a knuckle. Moreover, the Huawei Mate S excels through its innovative design – inside and outside. An elegant metal body made with the help of nanometer injection modeling, a 5.5. inch AMOLED FHD screen with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass, side edges that are just 2.65 mm, and sapphire lenses.

Since this season, Huawei has been the new sponsor of the Swiss ice hockey team Kloten Flyers.

Last week, their head coach Sean Simpson surprised the team with a shipment of Huawei Mate S’ in their team changing room.
