HUAWEI Japan to Exhibit at CEATEC JAPAN 2012 for the First Time
Tokyo, October 2, 2012: HUAWEI Technologies Japan K.K., a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider (hereafter referred to as HUAWEI Japan), announced today that it will be participating in CEATEC JAPAN 2012 for the first time. CEATEC is scheduled to be held for five days this year from October 2 (Tue) to October 6 (Sat) at Makuhari Messe.
“We hope that our exhibition at CEATEC will become a great opportunity for Japanese consumers to experience our latest technologies, various efforts and wide range of product lines.” said Oliver Wu, President of HUAWEI Device Japan.
HUAWEI’s participation in CEATEC takes place ahead of the launch of its flagship “Ascend” smartphone, which will be sold through NTT Docomo this fall. Under the theme <LTE from HUAWEI>, we hope to show the many possibilities that a world with LTE will achieve. In addition to a range of smartphones, HUAWEI will also showcase a data communication card*1 which was the top seller in Japan, a digital photo frame*1 and other products. We hope to boost the recognition of the HUAWEI brand as an ITC company that provides a wide range of products.
