What happens with my personal data when I create a Huawei ID?
HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS) has established three regional centres and 15 data centres worldwide. All data is processed in accordance with applicable law and the Huawei ID privacy statement.
Huawei has built an isolated Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) outside the open Android environment to isolate and protect users’ sensitive data and privacy. User’s sensitive data such as biometric data and keys are stored in the TEE OS, while fingerprint/face ID recognition and password verification is conducted only within the TEE OS. Personal sensitive data will not be processed outside the device, and the user has complete control over their personal data.
HUAWEI AppGallery has a full-cycle security and protection system, including developer real-name verification, four-step review process, download and installation protection as well as a prevention mechanism for secure app operation. In addition, HUAWEI AppGallery has implemented an app rating system worldwide.

Can I use this phone for work? Email services, calendar, Office, PDF Viewer, etc.?
