Huawei advances by 42 places and ranks at no. 6 spot in BCG The Most Innovative Companies

Huawei continues its rapid development of devices portfolio (smartphones, wearables, smart home devices, Internet of Things and telecommunication infrastructure), expands its multidevice ecosystem and grows HUAWEI AppGallery as an open, innovative app distribution platform. Company’s ability to unceasingly adapt, innovate and grow has been noticed and awarded with no. 6 in prestigious ranking of The Most Innovative Companies

Boston Consulting Group has been surveying global innovation executives since 2005 to reveal the 50 companies they most admire. BCG’s newest ranking —The Most Innovative Companies 2020: The Serial Innovation Imperative — concentrates on what it takes to outperform over the long term.

This year Huawei has advanced by 42 places making it the biggest advancement in this year’s ranking. The company was noted for the first time at no. 50 spot in 2014. For the subsequent 4 years, Huawei has been placed between 46th (2015) and 48th (2019) place.

Huawei develops its multi-device ecosystem, where users can interact with different units within the same interface, along with “1+8+N” strategy to supply the user with a wide range of services and experiences. Huawei unleashes its full potential of tech innovations to lead the industry forward within two key areas – mobile units and the cloud. Huawei constantly works to collaborate with the world’s top app development companies to offer more apps to its users, and recently launched Petal Search – Find Apps “Your gateway to a million apps”. The company is also continuously recruiting global developers to jointly work on expanding the ecosystem and on the AppGallery to proliferate the smart app experience worldwide.
