There is a low probability that two hard disk boot items are displayed after I power on the laptop and then press and hold F2 to enter the BIOS settings screen or press and hold F12 to enter the boot menu screen |
Problem
The laptop only has one hard disk, but there is a low probability that two hard disk boot items are displayed after the user powers on the laptop and then presses and holds F2 to enter the BIOS settings screen or presses and holds F12 to enter the boot menu screen.
Cause
There is an issue with the source codes of Insyde Software.
Solution
- This issue does not affect normal loading and startup of the operating system. The two boot items are the same and both can be loaded to enter the system.
- Open HUAWEI PC Manager, go to Drivers > Check, and update the BIOS to version 1.35 or later.
