Improving the digital life of every user with industry leading services and experiences
Mexico City, November 5, 2019
During the first ever Huawei Developer Day in Latin America, which was celebrated today in Mexico City, Huawei´s Latin American team reinforced existing partnerships and created new ones with developers from 8 countries in the region, showing a shared vision of the future where an all-scenario, safe and connected ecosystem builds de future in order to create an intelligent lifestyle to all users of Latin America and the world, brought by the joint creation of applications and services based on new technologies and capabilities, as well as tools powered by AI, chipset, cloud and world class security technologies.
Aside from presenting core technologies like HMS Core and the main features of Huawei´s own app distribution system, AppGallery, the company presented HUAWEI Ability Gallery, a series of tools capable of generating a smart connection between developers and their users across the region.
“Huawei Mobile Services have been designed in order to considerably improve the experience of our users by connecting in a safe and reliable way with services, features and contents created and deployed for each moment of their digital lives. This is possible because of the technologies that we have developed for several years, alongside our intelligent app distribution system focused on creating a new ecosystem. We are at a win-win scenario both for our users and developers, as our partners and the developers themselves will have access to our growing global user base, which is already beyond 500 million users worldwide, while Huawei takes care of optimizing the technical and functional part of all services, creating a more open, joint ecosystem”, commented Daniel Dias, Product director for Huawei in Brazil.
One of the key components for the ecosystem based on HMS is HUAWEI Ability Gallery, which is a platform that directly promotes services to users as it evaluates their usage patterns, actively recommending abilities that best suit their needs. Once integrated, developer´s services can reach multiple touch points across all of Huawei´s smart devices, resulting in greater visibility to a more global audience, helping our developer partners reach their growth objectives and a lower integration cost.
“Huawei Ability Gallery is capable of bringing great value to users as it can offer a fast and intelligent access to services. We look forward to continue working with our partners across the region to bring first level contents and industry leading services to our users in all of Latin America”, added Dias.
HMS already benefit more than 500 million users worldwide, including more than 20 million Huawei ID users in Latin America. Huawei´s services are the base of an all-scenario connected ecosystem focused on smart devices capable of making the users´ digital life easier, helping them discover contents and quality experiences in an environment that guarantees information security and privacy.
Huawei is currently bringing its partners open capabilities including HMS Core, HiAI, AR and Camera Kit in order to boost digital innovation based on the HMS platform, delivering smart services in one place for developers and partners all across the world.
