‘Have you ever thought about where the craziest, most unusual festival in the world might be?’ asks Zoe, of Zoe London Blog fame. It turns out it’s in Iceland.
On June 21st, a small town just west of Reykjavik, Iceland, played host to the Secret Solstice Festival, an all-night party on the longest day of the year. At this time of year, the country sees an incredible 21 hours of daylight, so the term ‘all night’ takes on a new meaning here.
Zoe’s pre-festival sightseeing takes her on a journey across Iceland’s beautifully ethereal landscape. Venturing into remote ice tunnels, she joins the audience of an exclusive concert in the depths of a glacier. Stopping at a waterfall Zoe can’t pronounce (it’s called Seljalandsfoss, if you fancy the challenge) and exploring a black sand beach, Zoe captures her awe-inspiring adventures on the HUAWEI P10.
At the Secret Solstice Festival Zoe really puts the HUAWEI P10’s Leica Dual Camera to test, using a variety of features and settings to capture the festival’s unique atmosphere. Watch the film to see why Zoe dubs her P10 ‘the perfect festival companion’ and catch a front row view of festival headliners The Foo Fighters, as they play under the midnight sun.
THE HUAWEI P10 AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHES TO WIDE ANGLE MODE FOR GROUFIES
The HUAWEI P10’s Leica Dual Camera carries two SUMMARIT-H lenses with a 2.2/f aperture. Coupled with its 20MP+12MP sensors and Optical Image Stabilisation it basically means professional grade photography at your fingertips. Exactly what’s needed at a busy festival!
