Before discarding electronics, you need to:
Check whether your electronic product is scrapped.
Ask your relatives and friends that whether they want to use your electronic product such as old cell phones or tablets. If no one wants to use it, it becomes an electronic waste.
Back up data to your personal PC.
Back up and delete your personal data on your cell phone or tablet and remove the SIM card to reduce the battery consumption to the minimum.
Select the most appropriate recycling method.
You can select one of the following recycling methods:
(1) Send your electronic waste to the nearest recycling station.
(2) Send your electronic waste to the public recycling platform that was set up by the government.
