By entering this Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions together with the information explaining the requirements for entry.

The Promoter of the Promotion is Huawei Technologies Duesseldorf GmbH at Hansaallee 205, 40549 Düsseldorf, Germany (herein: “Promoter”).
This Promotion will be promoted through Instagram and Facebook. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. Entrants shall comply with the terms of service, community guidelines or other applicable policies for user submissions and/or uploads located at: https://help.instagram.com/581066165581870?helpref=page_content; and https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms. Submissions that violate the applicable terms of service or guidelines shall be disqualified. Entrants in the Promotion completely release Instagram and Facebook from any possible claims. Eligibility for Entry
This Promotion is only open to legal residents of Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland, and the United Kingdom, who are aged 16 and over.
The Promoter’s employees, its agents, their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners), or any Official Influencers professionally associated with this Promotion are excluded from entry.
Multiple entries are permitted throughout Promotion Period 1, however only one P20 Pro and Trip to Florence Prize may be won per person. Maximum of one entry (5 images) per person during Promotion Period 2.
A valid Facebook account and internet access is required.
Entry into the Promotion is free of charge and fees and does not require the purchase of goods and/or services.

Promotion Period 2: Winners of the Trip to Florence Prize may enter the competition to win the Grand Tour Prize between 00.01 BST on the 21st of September 2018 and 23.59 BST on the 23rd of September 2018 inclusive.
To Enter the P20 Pro and Trip to Florence Competition: During Promotion Period 1, log onto Facebook (or create an account for free), or log onto the Facebook messenger app, then send a message to the Huawei Spark a Renaissance Facebook account through the chatbot including a photo that meets the theme of the Weekly Period, with your email address and country of residence to be entered into the competition for the Weekly P20 Pro Competition and the Trip to Florence Competition. Entrants that enter through a link provided by an official influencer will also be entered into the Weekly Influencer Competition.
To Enter the Grand Tour Competition: During Promotion Period 2, the winners of the Trip to Florence Competition will have the opportunity to submit 5 photos taken using a P20 Pro smartphone during their trip to be entered into the Grand Tour Competition.
Further entry details:
Entrants must only submit images that are their own work.
Entrants must not upload images which have won an award or prize via a promotion run by the Promoter or any other entity; and
Entrants must only upload images that do not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, ownership, copyrights, trademarks, patents, logos, licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy or any other intellectual property rights.
Entrants that win a Weekly Competition will not be eligible to win a Weekly Influencer Competition.
Photography Theme Details:
A New Renaissance – Images should reinterpret or recreate Renaissance art and could be based around Renaissance themes including portraits, realism, landscape, light and classical mythology.
After Dark – Images should showcase low light photography or almost complete darkness with a focus upon detail, and contrast.
Deep in Detail – Images should feature close up photography, with an aim of bringing the photography subject closer without compromising on image quality.
Moment in Time – Images should aim to capture movement and action whilst keeping the image crisp and detailed.
Wide Eyed World – Images should be centred around landscapes and cityscapes.
Moderation: The Promoter will reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter are:
sexually provocative – such as images containing partial or full nudity;
not a photograph – such as any images that are a graphic, computer generated image, drawing, or cartoon;
feature text in the image – such as images that have been captioned after the photograph has been taken, and images that have a textual element as the main focus of the image, for example a close-up of a newspaper page or billboard;
copyright – such as images that bear a copyright mark, trade mark, watermark mark, feature a URL, or images where the main focus of the shot is a brand logo;
pornography – such as images that depict sexually explicit behaviour;
gore – such as images that depict real-life blood and gore;
offensive – such as images depicting anti-social activities for example people/animals urinating or vomiting, displays of drunkenness, or offensive gestures;
illegal – such as images depicting drugs, smoking or the consumption of alcohol, the depiction of illegal activities such as theft, assault, car-crime or vandalism;
terrorism propaganda – such as photographs depicting any propaganda or the behaviour of any terrorist group, or any activities related to terrorism;
gang and weapon promotion – such as photographs depicting modern-day gang violence promotion, or images that feature a weapon as the main subject (photographs of historical battle re-enactment are acceptable).
extremist hate – such as photographs glorifying neo-nazi / far right, racist, homophobic, anti-religious views;
spam – such as images where the main focus is a company name or advert.
promoting a political agenda – such as images that feature any imagery or content that depicts any political views or opinion.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Promotion. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted.
Prize, determination and notification of the winners
P20 Pro Competition: Following each Weekly Period, 1 winner per country will win a Huawei P20 Pro smartphone (a total of 10 winners per Weekly Period).
Weekly Influencer Competition: Following each Weekly Period, 5 winners per country that entered through a link provided by an Official Influencer will win a Huawei P20 Pro smartphone (a total of 50 winners per Weekly Period).
Trip to Florence Competition: Following the close Promotion Period 1, 1 winner per country that is judged to be the best by a Leica judge will win a 2-night trip to Florence for 2 people between the 21st and 23rd of September 2018.
Grand Tour Competition: Following the close of Promotion Period 2, 1 winner will win a tour of Venice, Bruges, Toledo and Valladolid for 2 people. This tour is to be taken before 27th December 2018.

Airport used for flights to and from the winner’s home country will be dependent on the direct availability from the winner’s nearest available international airport, which may not necessarily be the closest. All other departure airports used will be dependent on the best available international airport. Non-EU/EEA passport/identity card holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy/Consulate at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges.
Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School Holidays and Bank Holidays (both departure country and Italy, Belgium and Spain).
The winner or their guest must be at least 18 years old. Guests below the age of 16 must provide written parental consent to travel unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
For car hire, driver must be over the age of 25 and have held a full clean driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years. Fully inclusive refers to unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, local taxes and airport fees. Driver must also hold a valid credit card (not debit card) with a minimum of between £500-£1,000 (dependant on car hire company) available for security deposit, which is refundable upon safe return of the vehicle.
Restaurant reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking. Dinner is based on 2 adults enjoying a 3-course meal from the a la carte menu including a bottle of house wine and mineral water. Winner and guest must be over the age of 18 to drink alcohol, soft drink alternatives will be available to anyone under the age of 18.
All transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers.
All Hotels are classed a 4 Star minimum and are based on 2 adults sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. Twin rooms can be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Also includes Tourism Tax (where applicable) for the duration of the winner’s stay, payable locally to the hotel upon check-out.
The winner and their guest must travel together at all times.
All elements of the Prizes must be taken as part of the same trip.
Routing may vary depending on the winner’s location.
Bike hire includes 2 standard road bikes with helmets for 3 days only.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The winner and their guest are subject to the Airlines’ published Conditions of Carriage.
Once tickets have been issued, they are valid for flights, dates and times shown. Name changes to the flight seats once confirmed are not permitted.
If a booking is cancelled by the winner, no alternative tickets will be issued and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.
The winner and their guest will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on the date of travel. Any necessary visas or travel insurance are the responsibility of the winner and their guest.
For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel/transportation, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.
Specified accommodation, restaurants, and tours are subject to availability at the time of booking. Alternatives may be offered depending on availability.
Certain parts of the prize may require particular levels of health or fitness. Participants should ensure that they are capable of meeting the required standards.
All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
The winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes.
A valid credit or debit card will be required to check in to your room and will be used to guarantee any incidentals such as in-room calls or services.
P20 Pro Competition: All valid entries received during each Weekly Period will be judged instantly by an Artificial Intelligence programme to provide a score out of 100 based on the following criteria (the “AI Criteria”):

The 10 top scoring entries for each country, each Weekly Period will then be judged independently by a neutral representative of Leica based on the following criteria (the “Leica Criteria”): artistic expression, balance, meaning, message, adherence/appropriateness to theme, execution, timing, photographic techniques, originality, clarity of expression, innovative means of delivering message, visual design, clarity and quality of submission, colour, lighting, exposure and focus, tone and competition to select the best entry from each country (a total of 10 winners per Weekly Period).
Weekly Influencer Competition: The top 50 scoring entries, that have been judged by the Artificial Intelligence programme for each influencer received during each Weekly Period will be judged by that Official Influencer based on the Leica Criteria, to select a winner per Weekly Period. A total 50 winners will be selected (5 winners per country, per Weekly Period).
Trip to Florence Competition: All 50 winners throughout the P20 Pro Competition will be judged independently by a representative of Leica based on the Leica Criteria, to select the best entrant from each country (a total of 10 winners). Those 10 best entrants will win the Trip to Florence Prize.
Grand Tour Competition: All winners of the Trip to Florence Prize will have the opportunity to submit up to 5 photographs each taken during their trip to Florence. All photographs submitted by the winners of the Trip to Florence Prize will be judged by an Artificial Intelligence programme based on the AI Criteria and an independent representative of Leica based on the Leica Criteria to select the best photograph. The score of the Artificial Intelligence programme and the representative of Leica, each have a 50% weighting to produce an overall score out of 100%. The entrant that submitted the best photograph will win the Grand Tour Prize
Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted via the email address provided on entry within 3 working days of judging and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 7 days of initial contact. If a winner does not respond to communications within the 7 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and allocate that prize to an alternative winner selected in the same manner. If a winner is disqualified, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to a reserve winner selected in the same manner.
For prize fulfilment, winners will be contacted within 14 days of prize acceptance to organise the Prize.
The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
Rights of Use
By entering the Promotion during Promotion Period 1, entrants agree to the Promoter publishing these entries on their website and further use on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media platforms.
By entering the Promotion during Promotion Period 2, entrants agree to the Promoter publishing these entries on their website and possible further use on their website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media platforms. They also agree to other possible promotional use in media of the Promoter’s choosing without any further payment, over and above the award of the prize, for up to one year but with appropriate credit given to the original entrant.
Entrants warrant that the submitted content (herein: “Contribution”) is free of third party rights, in particular free of copyrights and other intellectual property rights (e.g. patents, trademarks, design rights, know-how etc.), and that entrants have the right to grant a license to the Promoter pursuant to section 6.4.
Entrants hereby grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, freely assignable right that is unrestricted in terms of geography, content and time, however latest until revocation of Entrant from the time of entry, and for which sublicenses may be issued, to use the Contribution by way of all known and currently unknown types of use. The rights of use include – on a national and international basis – in particular the Promoter’s right to copy, modify, process, publish and market the Contribution. This grant of rights is free of charge and royalty-free.
The winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their names, and counties/countries of residence to announce the winners of the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and counties/countries of residence of the winners.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries to the prize draw or for any malfunctions or failures in the software that has been designed to maintain the participant’s details.
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by German law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Düsseldorf, Germany, as long as legally permissible.
