You may have performed some operations that result in Contacts data being imported. Perform the following to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check your HUAWEI ID settings.
If you have turned on the switch for contacts synchronisation in your HUAWEI ID settings, the previously synchronised contacts will be automatically downloaded. Clear Contacts data that you don't need anymore. This operation will clear Contacts data from Cloud. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
2. Check whether Backup is enabled.
You may have selected Contacts when using the pre-installed Backup feature on your Huawei phone or other backup apps.
It is recommended that you delete Contacts data that you don't need.
3. Check whether your Contacts data is synchronised in a third-party app.
It is recommended that you delete Contacts data that you don't need, and disable the synchronisation of third-party apps.
4. Check whether Contacts data is imported from another SIM card.
You may have inserted another SIM card into your phone/tablet and accidentally imported Contacts data from that SIM card. It is recommended that you delete Contacts data that you don't need.
