HUAWEI Service Carnival

1. HUAWEI Service Carnival (“Campaign”) is organized by HUAWEI Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“HUAWEI”) at the participating HUAWEI Authorized Service Center(s) (“ASC”) listed below: -

2. HUAWEI Service Carnival (“Campaign”) is organized by HUAWEI Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“HUAWEI”). This Campaign will run from 7th January 2023 to 31st March 2023 (“Campaign Period”). HUAWEI shall reserve the right to shorten or extend the HUAWEI Service Carnival Campaign Period at its sole discretion without prior notice.

3. Only HUAWEI devices which are sold through authorized channels in Malaysia are eligible participate in this activity.

SPARE PARTS DISCOUNTS

4. Under this Spare Parts Discounts promotion, customers are entitled to enjoy discounted prices for out of warranty repairs during the Campaign Period, limited to the selected list of HUAWEI devices. It does not include all devices, please search for your device on the list of eligible spare part and price list.

5. The discount price set out above is only the cost of the selected spare parts, excluding repair labor charge (which will be separately quoted by ASC).

6. Only discounted price of selected spare parts are displayed above. The usual spare part price of all HUAWEI branded devices can be found at https://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/sparepart-price/ or in My HUAWEI App.

7. The participating ASC(s) for this Spare Parts Discounts promotion is subject to classification into Service Points and Collection Points based on the device type, in accordance with the table below:

8. Devices which are presented at Collection Points will be transported to an available Service Point for purposes of carrying out the requested service. Upon completion, the customer may elect for the serviced device to be (i) transported back to the original Collection Point for collection by the customer; or (ii) delivered to an address appointed by the customer (within Malaysia only). All such transportation costs will be borne by HUAWEI.

9. The spare parts replaced under this promotion are entitled to 90 days warranty starting from the date of collection of the repaired device. For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty applies only to the selected spare parts replaced and does not cover damage resulting from mishandling of the repaired device or human induced damage.

10. The stock of selected spare parts of each ASC are subject to availability and will be supplied on a first-come-first-served basis.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

11. Under this Battery Replacement promotion, customers are entitled to replace the battery of selected HUAWEI mobile device models at all HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers during the Campaign Period. Please search for your device on the list of eligible models and price list. The stock of battery is subject to availability and on a first-come-first-served basis.

13. The Battery Replacement promotion is only applicable to battery replacement, excluding other repair or maintenance services (which will be separately quoted by ASC).

14. The price of RM99/RM199 under this promotion is inclusive of both price for the battery and labor charge for battery replacement.

15. The replaced battery is entitled to an additional 90 days warranty starting from the collection date. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from mishandling/human induced damage.

HUAWEI CARE

16. During the Campaign Period, users are entitled to purchase HUAWEI Care service for selected devices, at a discounted price of up to 40%. Users may enjoy these discounts to extend their device’s warranty or to protect their device screens and main parts and enjoy a lower price to replace the accidentally damaged parts. Note that a replacement fee will still be required to be paid at the time of replacement. HUAWEI ACCESSORIES

17. The Adapter & Cable is entitled to a 90 days warranty. The stocks of Adapter & Cable are subject to availability and will be supplied on a first come, first served basis.

SCREEN GLASS REPLACEMENT

18. For Screen Glass Replacement, Customer will be able to enjoy the Promotional Price as set out above for the Screen Glass Cover used for the out-of-warranty repair of the participating Smartphone Models at the participating HUAWEI Authorized Service Center.

19. The stocks of Screen Glass Cover are subject to availability and will be supplied on a first come, first served basis.

PRIVACY

20. By participating in this Campaign, customer hereby agrees and provides consent to HUAWEI, its affiliates, and the ASC(s) to the use of any personal data as provided by the customer for the purpose of participation in Campaign in line with the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HUAWEI and the ASC(s) for lawful purposes directly related to the running of this Campaign and in line with HUAWEI's Privacy Policy stated at https://consumer.huawei.com/my/legal/privacy-policy/.

GENERAL

21. Customer shall back up his/her data and remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information from his/her device before sending in his/her device to ASC for diagnosis or repair. HUAWEI is not responsible for the damage or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media in the device.

22. By participating in this Campaign, customer agrees to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Campaign. Customer agrees to grant HUAWEI a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs, voice, biographical information and/or statements of the customer, at any time or times, in all media types worldwide for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes and the customer will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

23. If customers are discovered to be using or have used improper means to participate in this Campaign, HUAWEI reserves the right to cancel the eligibility of the customer without notice.

24. By participating in this Campaign, customers are deemed to have reviewed, read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

25. Devices purchased from unauthorized channels are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.

26. HUAWEI reserves the rights to add, modify and/or cancel the Terms and Conditions herein at any time without further notice.

27. This Campaign and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
