Huawei Consumer Business Group opens Oman’s first flagship experience store at Muscat’s City Center Qurum

Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) expands its footprint in the market with its first ever Huawei Experience Store brand showroom in Muscat’s City Center Qurum. Following the phenomenal success of HUAWEI Mate 20 Series in Oman, the inauguration of the flagship retail experience store consolidates Huawei’s long-standing position as a leader of technology, innovative devices and exceptional products in the Sultanate.

The store will create a comprehensive retail experience to optimize customers engagement and provide access to Huawei’s latest products and services all under one roof. The use of HES-R Version 3.5 design of HUAWEI and the futuristic space of product display makes for a welcoming and comfortable environment for the consumer to make decisions.

The grand opening of the Huawei Experience Store was led by Mr. Ian Li, General Manager of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East Multi Countries. Muhanad Al Adwani, a popular Omani actor, entertainer and influencer also attended the opening ceremony and picked a lucky winner from a raffle. The winner walked away with a brand-new HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro.

According to Hamburg-based research and information design firm Statista, Oman has the third highest mobile penetration rate averaged at about 1.5 mobile phones per person. In view of this research, Huawei has driven its expansion and grown its visibility since 2017 with the increased number of dedicated brand stores within Oman’s leading electronic chains and other authorized dealers.

Huawei CBG has made heavy investments in R&D, channels and services, which reiterates its commitment to providing greater convenience to the smartphone users in terms of product availability and 24/7 after-sales service of the highest quality.

Huawei is all set to open eight new dedicated brand zones within leading electronics chains and 20 brand zones in independent electronics stores across Oman. The breakthrough sales of the HUAWEI Mate 20 series support the global consumer-centric strategy that the brand follows by continuing to provide a greater choice and an enhanced high-end premise for the consumers in the Sultanate.
