All of our lives have changed over the last weeks and we are proud to see the positive stories of people from all over the world coming together and supporting one another. There is a true sense of global community that gives us all optimism and joy in these difficult times.
Our undivided focus is on the health and safety of our employees and customers and in ensuring we do what we can to keep people around the world connected when so many of us feel distanced and isolated.
Earlier this week, in an effort to protect our customers, we made the decision to close some of our stores and service centres across Europe. Our European workforce has also moved to remote working following distancing guidance.
We know how important the role of technology is at this time, and so we continue to work to keep our customers connected. As a first step, we’re extending to June 15th any warranties that end between March 15th and June 14th to provide some reassurance that you will always be able to use your devices to stay in touch with your friends, family and workplace during this time.
We will also launch new service offerings including ‘contact-less’ door to door service. Your tablet, laptop, smartphone, router, modem or smartwatch will be collected and taken to a service centre for repair and then returned completely free of delivery charges and testing fees. We have also launched a delivery service for devices already in our service centres for repair. Full details and country availability can be found on our website.
I’d like to end by saying a huge thank you to our customers, dedicated employees and to the individuals, communities and particularly the medical professionals for their remarkable efforts they are providing at this time. Let’s all stay connected and safe.
