| Set Up Users |
You can create a separate account for someone else to use your device. For your privacy and data security, the other user will only be allowed to access certain functions of your device.
The following user account types are available on your device:
Administrator
Your account is the administrator by default.
An administrator is allowed to perform any operation on the device, including adding or deleting other accounts, and authorising other accounts to use the calling and SMS functions.
User
You can create a user account for someone who frequently uses your device.
A user account can use most of the functions on your device. However, they can't use functions that will interfere with the administrator, such as restoring to factory settings, using phone clone, changing user rights, or creating a PrivateSpace.
Guest
You can create a guest account for someone who only needs to use your device temporarily.
A guest account can only use limited, basic functions on your device. For example, a guest is not allowed to send SMS messages, install unknown apps, switch to a different Wi-Fi network, or set mobile data monitoring.
Add a User or Guest Account
Go to
, touch Add user or Add guest, then follow the onscreen instructions to add an account.Touch Switch to switch to the user or guest account. Configure the settings for the new account as prompted.
Install apps as needed. Note that if a newer version of an app has been installed by another user, the app installation will fail.
A maximum of three user and one guest accounts can be added.
Authorise a User or Guest Account to Make Calls and Send Messages
You can set whether to allow a user or guest account to make calls, send SMS messages, and more.
After accessing your device as the administrator, go to
.Touch the related account, and select the permissions you want to authorise.
Switch Between the Administrator, User, and Guest
You can switch to a different account using either of the following methods:
Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, touch
, then touch the profile picture of the account you wish to switch to.Go to
, and touch the name of the account you wish to switch to.
Delete a User or Guest Account
Deleting a user or guest account will delete all its related data. Please exercise caution.
After accessing your device as the administrator, use either of the following methods to delete a user or guest account:
