What is the Petal Search widget and how to add it to the home screen?

Petal Search widget is a home screen tool that allows HUAWEI smartphone owners to use Petal Search and find anything you need – including apps, news, images and more – directly from home screen.

You can add the Petal Search widget to the home screen by setting as follows:

1. On the home screen, pinch two fingers to access the screen shown in the following figure. Touch Widgets, swipe right at the bottom of the screen, then touch Petal Search once you find it.

   

2. Select the size of widget that you want and drag it to your preferred position.

   If your Petal Search version is 11.0.8 or later, you can also add a widget with shortcuts for news, apps, and other content for easier access, as shown in the following figure.

• Petal Search is a preinstalled system app for Huawei devices with EMUI 11.0.1 or later, which can't be uninstalled. Touch and hold an app icon to check whether the Uninstall option is available. If not, it indicates that the app is a pre-installed system app and cannot be uninstalled.
