How do I disable or enable the Link+ feature on my router

You can disable or enable a router's Link+ feature through the web-based management page. If Link+ is disabled and you want to use your router with another device that supports Link+, such as another router, a Wi-Fi extender, you will not be able to use a single H (or Hi) button to establish a Link+ network. Wi-Fi names and passwords from multiple devices will not automatically synchronize, and multiple Wi-Fi networks will appear in your home.

 

• If the uplink router is a HUAWEI router, the feature settings will be consistent with those on the uplink HUAWEI router. To change the settings, modify them on the uplink router.
• If the uplink router is not a HUAWEI router, refer to the following.

To disable the Link+ feature, follow these steps:

1. Connect your computer to the router's Wi-Fi (or connect the computer to the router's LAN port using an Ethernet cable). In the browser address bar, enter the default IP address in the address box (printed on the nameplate at the bottom of the router), enter the management password, and log in to the router's web-based management page.
    

   • For routers that feature self-adaptive ports, you do not need to distinguish between WAN and LAN ports.
   • For certain devices, please refer to How to view the IP address of HUAWEI WiFi Extender AX3000.
2. Go to More Functions > Network Settings > Link+ Settings, and toggle Link+ off and Save to disable the Link+ feature.

   

   

   To re-enable Link+, follow the same steps and toggle Link+ on. Restart the router after enabling this feature to ensure that Link+ functions properly.
