Unable to locate the kids watch in the HUAWEI FamCare app

Locating the kids watch in the HUAWEI FamCare app requires the network conditions of the watch and your phone to be good. If the network conditions are poor, locating the kids watch will be slow or fail.

Follow the onscreen instructions in the HUAWEI FamCare app to troubleshoot.

"XX's watch is already scheduled to power off", "XX's watch turned off with Power button", or "XX's watch powered off remotely" is displayed in the HUAWEI FamCare app

This is due to the kids watch being powered off. Perform operations based on the specific message displayed on the home screen of the HUAWEI FamCare app.

  • If "XX's watch is already scheduled to power off" is displayed, wait for the Schedule on feature to take effect or manually power on the watch, and try again.

You can open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner, and touch Schedule on/off to adjust the time for the feature to take effect or disable the feature.

  • If "XX's watch turned off with Power button" is displayed, it generally indicates that the watch has been manually powered off. In this case, wait for the next Schedule on time to take effect or check with your child about why the watch was powered off.

If you do not want the watch to be manually powered off, it is recommended that you open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner, touch Settings, and turn on the switch for Disable Power button on watch.

  • If "XX's watch powered off remotely" is displayed, an admin may have remotely powered off the watch. In this case, check with other admins about why the watch was powered off, wait until the watch is powered on, and try again.
  • If the issue is not caused by the preceding reasons, the watch may have been powered off due to a low battery level. It is recommended that you charge the watch, restart the watch, and try again.
