| The incorrect device responds when Smart wake is used |
If you say the voice wakeup phrase and the incorrect device responds first, just tell the device "Buyao shuohua" ("Do not respond"). The device will then not respond to your instruction for the specified period of time.
The sequence of devices that will respond first is as follows: speaker > Vision > phone > tablet.
If the target device still does not respond first, perform the following:
1. Ensure that the target device supports Smart wake
- Phone/Tablet: Currently, only devices with Kirin 990 or later chipsets support the feature and recording the same person's voiceprint.
- Vision: Currently, only devices with a memory of 3 GB or above support the feature.
- Speaker: Currently, only HUAWEI Sound and HUAWEI Sound X support the feature.
2. Ensure that the Voice wakeup/Smart wake feature is enabled on the target device
- Phone/Tablet: In Settings, search for Voice wakeup and access the voice wakeup screen, then enable the feature.
- Vision: Enable Voice wakeup and Smart wake depending on the system version.
HarmonyOS 2.0 & HarmonyOS 1.1: Go to Settings > > AI Voice and enable Voice wakeup and Smart wake.
HarmonyOS 1.0: Go to Settings > AI Voice and enable Voice wakeup and Smart wake.
- Speaker: Open the HUAWEI AI Life app and enable Smart wake in Settings.
3. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the target device
- Phone/Tablet: In Settings, search for Bluetooth and access the Bluetooth screen, then enable the feature.
- Vision: Enable Bluetooth depending on the system version.
HarmonyOS 2.0 & HarmonyOS 1.1: Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and enable the feature.
HarmonyOS 1.0: Go to Settings > Bluetooth and enable the feature.
- Speaker: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the speaker.
4. Ensure that the target device has been updated to the latest system version
Ensure that the target device(Phone、Tablet、Vision and Speaker)has been updated to the latest system.
