How do I re-enable Wi-Fi after I have scheduled it to shut down for a certain time period on my HUAWEI router

Method 1: Restarting your router

Once your router restarts, Wi-Fi will be enabled automatically.

If you disabled your router's Wi-Fi through the web-based management page and selected After restarting, your router will turn on Wi-Fi automatically. Wi-Fi will be enabled automatically the next time you restart your router.

Method 2: Using the AI Life App

  1. Open the AI Life App, touch the corresponding router to access the router management screen.
  2. Then go to Show more > Wi-Fi management > Wi-Fi (or go to Network > Wi-Fi management > Wi-Fi).

  3. Touch the Wi-Fi switch, then touch in the upper right corner of the screen to confirm and enable your router's Wi-Fi.

You can also enable your 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network respectively, if the Prioritize 5 GHz (or Tri-band auto-selection) have been disabled.

Method 3: Through the web-based management page

  1. Connect your computer to the router's LAN port using an Ethernet cable. Enter the default IP address in the browser address bar to log in to the web-based management page. (check the nameplate at the bottom of the router for the default IP address).

If the router features self-adaptive network ports, you do not need to distinguish the WAN port from the LAN port.

  2. Click My Wi-Fi, and toggle on/off the Wi-Fi switch to enable or disable your router's Wi-Fi.

After Wi-Fi is enabled, Your Wi-Fi will be disabled in the next cycle you set in the Wi-Fi timer. Disable the Wi-Fi timer function if required.
