- Right-click a blank area on the desktop and choose View from the shortcut menu to set the arrangement mode:
- To enable desktop icons to be automatically arranged, select Auto arrange icons. Once you select Auto arrange icons, you will be unable to arrange desktop icons manually.
- To enable desktop icons to be aligned in a grid pattern, select Align icons to grid.
- Click Sort by and choose Name, Size, Item type, or Date modified to sort desktop icons and files.
