Take HDR Photos

When shooting photos with backlighting or a high light contrast, High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode can help you improve light and shadow effects in your photos, giving your photos sharper details.

Use HDR with the Rear Camera

  1. Go to Camera > More and select HDR.

  2. Steady your device, with the help of a tripod if necessary.

  3. Touch to take a photo.

Use HDR with the Front Camera

When using the front camera, enable HDR to avoid underexposure and take better-looking photos and videos.

  1. Open Camera and touch to switch to the front camera.

  2. Select Portrait, Photo, or Video mode.

  3. Turn on to enable AI HDR.

  4. Frame your subject in the viewfinder.

  5. Touch the shutter button to shoot a photo or video.
