Connecting the kids watch to a Wi-Fi

Configuring a Wi-Fi using the FamCare app

  1. Open the FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner of the home screen, touch Wi-Fi, and follow the onscreen instructions to enable Wi-Fi and GPS on your phone. A list of available Wi-Fis will then be displayed.
  2. Select a Wi-Fi, enter the password, and touch OK.
  3. You can also touch Add network at the bottom of the list of available Wi-Fis, enter the name and password of another Wi-Fi, and touch OK.

Configuring a Wi-Fi on the watch

  1. Press the Home button from the home screen of the watch to enter the app list, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and turn on the switch.
  2. Select a Wi-Fi from the Wi-Fi list, enter the password, and touch Connect. When the status changes to Connected, it indicates that the watch has connected to the Wi-Fi.

  • The kids watch only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi hotspots and phone hotspots.
  • The kids watch cannot connect to Wi-Fi hotspots with a hidden SSID. Ensure that the Wi-Fi hotspot that you want to connect the watch to is not hidden.
  • Android phones can display a list of available Wi-Fis. (However, if the Wi-Fi hotspot of an admin's phone is used for the watch to connect to and Wi-Fi is not enabled on the phone, the name of the Wi-Fi hotspot will not be displayed and needs to be manually entered.) iOS phones cannot display a list of available Wi-Fis, and Wi-Fis need to be added manually.
  • When the kids watch is not close to an admin, a Wi-Fi needs to be remotely set up and manually added. Ensure that the watch is within the Wi-Fi coverage and that the Wi-Fi's name and password are correct.
  • You don't need to enter the Wi-Fi's password if the Wi-Fi does not have one.
  • A maximum of 50 Wi-Fis can be added. If you have added 50 Wi-Fis, delete an existing Wi-Fi before adding a new one.

  • To disconnect from the connected Wi-Fi, open the FamCare app, touch and hold the Wi-Fi, and touch the Delete icon. Disabling Wi-Fi is not supported.
