Huawei Notepad reminders don't work

Huawei Notepad reminders don't work

Open Notepad, and touch Create To-dos to set Notepad reminders. If Notepad reminders don't work, check whether the following settings have been enabled:

1. Enable Notepad notifications

  • Path 1: Go to Settings > Notifications/Notifications > Notepad > To-do notifications, and enable Allow notifications, Lock screen, Banners and Allow interruptions.
  • Path 2: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications management > Notepad, and select Allow notifications.

2. If there are no Notepad notifications even after these permissions have been enabled

Check whether Ignore battery optimisation has been enabled on your phone

Path 1: Open Settings, search for and access Battery optimisation, touch the little triangle icon next to Not allowed, touch All apps, find Notepad, and select Don't allow.

Path 2: Open Settings, search for and access Ignore battery optimisation, touch the little triangle icon next to Allow, touch All apps, find Notepad, and select Allow.

3. If the issue remains unresolved

If the issue remains unresolved, call the Huawei consumer service hotline for further assistance.
