Scrollshot automatically stops on my HUAWEI phone/tablet
| Scrollshot automatically stops on my HUAWEI phone/tablet |
If Scrollshot automatically stops on the HUAWEI phone/tablet, perform the following operations to troubleshoot.
There are restrictions on Scrollshot
Scrollshot will automatically stop if the length of an image has exceeded the upper limit or if you have scrolled down to the bottom of the screen.
Similar content is displayed on the screen
If a floating window, dynamically refreshed content, or a large amount of same or similar content is displayed when you're using Scrollshot, this will automatically stop and the captured image will be saved.
On the Camera's Settings screen
The floating window permission for Scrollshot is disabled
The floating window permission is only supported on certain devices. If the following steps do not help, it indicates that your phone does not support this feature. In this case, skip these steps.
If the floating window permission for Scrollshot is disabled, Scrollshot may be automatically stopped in order to save power. To enable the permission, go to Settings > Apps & services > Apps > Scrollshot > More permissions/Permissions > Dropzone, and set it to Allowed.
Loading is too slow
Scrollshot will automatically stop if the loading of a long image is too slow, for example, when you're browsing the screenshots of a long article in a browser.
In other cases
It is recommended that you call Huawei consumer service hotline for more assistance.
