  2. If you cannot find Connect after clicking the Windows icon, perform the following:
    1. Ensure that the computer is connected to a network, press Win + I to open the Settings window, and then go to System > Projection to this PC.

    2. Click Optional features.

    3. Click View features.

    4. Enter wireless display in the search box under Add an optional feature, select Wireless Display, and click Next.

    5. Click Install.

    6. Ensure that Wireless Display is installed under Recent actions. After the feature is installed, restart your computer. If an update is available for your computer, update your computer and restart it. You will then be able to find Connect after clicking the Windows icon.

  3. In the Connect window, you will see your computer's device name, and the message "(Your computer device name) is ready for you to connect wirelessly".

  4. Enable the wireless projection feature on your other devices including your phone, tablet, or other computer, select your computer's name in the available device list, and connect both devices.

    • The actual method for enabling the wireless projection feature may vary depending on the device model. Contact the device vendor for detailed instructions.
    • The wireless projection feature of your phone may be affected if you have connected your phone to the computer using HUAWEI PC Manager. Disconnect your device from the computer, close the Connect window, and try again.

The following uses HUAWEI P50 Pro as an example:

    1. Swipe down to open Control Panel, enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and select Wireless Projection.

    2. Your phone will automatically search for nearby devices that can be projected to, and you can select the name of your computer from the list of available devices.

    3. Your phone screen will then be displayed on the Connect window. To end the wireless projection, click the close button in the Connect window or disable the wireless projection function on your phone.
