Problem

After going to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices, and enabling and disabling Bluetooth repeatedly, the Bluetooth icon disappears.

Cause

When you enable and disable Bluetooth repeatedly, the taskbar may fail to respond, causing the Bluetooth icon to disappear.

Solution

1. Enable Bluetooth again or restart your computer, and try again.
2. Go to Start > Settings > Devices > More Bluetooth options. On the Bluetooth Settings screen, select Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area.

If this issue persists, back up any important data, and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
