The internal storage (eMMC) of a device is classified into available space and unavailable space. The firmware and unavailable space (e.g., underlying operational space and operating system) will differ in size across devices with different configurations (e.g., a phone/tablet with 256 GB of memory will have larger firmware than one with 128 GB).
