Problem:
The user tries to pair their Vision with another remote control and pairing fails.
Solution:
Perform the following steps to troubleshoot:
- Check whether the remote control has suffered water damage or other man-made damage. In these cases, no warranty services will be provided. Purchase a remote control for the corresponding device model from Huawei Vmall.
- Ensure that the remote control has a battery inside.
- Power off the Vision and power it on again. Within 10 minutes of it powering on, go to the Vision home screen, then press and hold the Smart button and Menu button on the remote control for more than 4 seconds to enter pairing mode. When a message is displayed indicating that pairing is in progress, release the buttons and wait until a message is displayed indicating that pairing is successful.
Do not move the original remote control before pairing the new remote control with the HUAWEI Vision.

Smart button and Menu button on the remote control - If the issue persists, place the Bluetooth remote control more than 20 meters away from the Vision, go to the Bluetooth settings screen on your phone, and press and hold the Smart button and Menu button on the remote control for more than 4 seconds to enter pairing mode. Check whether the device (named HDRC-***) can be detected by your phone.
- If your phone can find the remote control, repeat step 2.
- If your phone cannot find the remote control, arrange a door-to-door service.
