Enable or Disable Airplane Mode

When taking a flight, you can enable Airplane mode to comply with airline requirements. In Airplane mode, your phone will not be able to make or answer calls, send or receive SMS messages, or use mobile data, but all other functions will be available.

You can enable or disable Airplane mode using the following methods:

  • Swipe down from the upper right edge of the screen to display Control Panel and touch to expand the shortcut switches panel (depending on your device model). Enable or disable Airplane mode.

  • Go to Settings > Mobile network and enable or disable Airplane mode.

When Airplane mode is enabled for the first time, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will be disabled automatically.

You can re-enable Wi-Fi or Bluetooth if allowed to do so by the airline. The settings will be saved and take effect the next time you enable Airplane mode on your phone.
