Charging slows down in hot ambient environments.
  • During the charging process, the phone's temperature will change, especially if the phone is running programs.
  • Huawei phones have a special overheating protection mechanism. When the phone's temperature gets high, the charging current decreases and the charging speed slows down.
  • Due to high ambient temperature, heat dissipation can be a problem in summer, you may find the charging speed of your phone slower relative to that of winter. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with your phone.

If your phone gets hot, it is recommended that you charge it after its temperature returns to normal, and close all apps that are not running in the background to prevent the temperature from becoming excessively high.
