The Play Store icon disappears from my HUAWEI phone after a system update

Problem:

After an online system update, the icon of the Play Store disappears.

Cause:

Solution:

  1. It is recommended that you download and install Google Play Store from a Google's official channel.
  2. If exceptions occur during installation, for example, if the system prompts "Can't open . Read the app instructions and then try again.", "This app has been stopped by you.", "The system failed to install the package because it is attempting to define a permission that is already defined by some existing package.", or "You already have a newer version of this app.", it is recommended that you:
    1. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, touch in the upper right corner, touch Show system processes, and find Google Play Service Updater:
      1. If the system prompts that the Google Play Store can't be opened, or a later version already exists, go to > Uninstall updates (if the uninstallation of the update fails, go to Disable > Deactivate and uninstall).
      2. If the system prompts that this app has been disabled, touch Enable.
      3. If the system prompts that the permission has been denied, go to Storage > Clear data.
    2. Download and install Google Play Store from an official channel authorised by Google.
