If you find that the battery life of your body fat scale is abnormal (for example, the battery life is less than two weeks after a brand new battery is installed), the hardware may be faulty. In this case, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
There are a large number of HUAWEI body fat scale products, and the battery life may vary in your daily use. It is recommended that you perform the following steps to improve the battery life of your body fat scale:
- Use the alkaline batteries delivered with the product, or purchase alkaline batteries from a reputable store. Alkaline batteries can effectively improve the battery life of your body fat scale. Do not use carbon batteries, as they have a smaller capacity.
- Do not mix batteries (such as batteries with different capacities or batteries from different manufacturers). If you do not mix batteries, it is recommended that you replace the batteries with new ones from the same manufacturer and check whether the standby time is still short and the power consumption is still fast.
- Avoid using batteries that have expired or batteries that have been used or left idle for a long time. If the batteries have been used for a long time or your body fat scale displays
