When Smart cover is enabled, the screen of your tablet turns on if the flip cover is opened and turns off if the flip cover is closed.
This helps deliver an easy-to-use experience and prolongs your tablet's battery life.
Your tablet's Hall sensor is in charge of these features, which are available only when you are using a magnetic screen cover. If these features do not work when Smart cover is enabled, check whether you are using a compatible cover. It is recommended that an official Huawei cover be used.
