Swiping down doesn't display the notification panel during calls

Swiping down doesn't display the notification panel during calls |
Problem:
On the call screen, swiping down from the top does not display the notification panel, and instead causes the screen to go black for a while.
Cause:
The proximity sensor is located at the upper right corner of your phone, as shown in the image below. When you swipe down for the notification panel, you may be accidentally blocking the proximity sensor, triggering Touch-disable mode.
Solution:
Avoid blocking the proximity sensor when swiping down from the top of the screen to display the notification panel.
