Click the Windows icon on the desktop screen, locate the app, and drag and drop the app icon to the desktop.
If you cannot find the app you need in the Windows app list, open the app's installation path, right-click the app startup icon, and select Create shortcut. Once the shortcut has been created, drag the shortcut icon to your desktop.
