My HUAWEI phone frequently displays New tag collected

Problem:

The phone frequently displays NFC card discovered or New tag collected.

Cause:

  1. Your phone's protective case contains an NFC-capable card, such as an ID card.
  2. An NFC-capable card is nearby.
  3. Two phones are tapped together.

Solution:

  1. Remove the NFC-capable card from your phone's protective case, or enable Mute NFC tag discovery banners.
  2. Disable NFC on the phone that is not in use.

If the issue persists, please contact Huawei customer service hotline, or back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
