[HUAWEI] Notifications are delayed, or there are no notifications when my wearable device disconnects from my phone via Bluetooth |
If your wearable device leaves the Bluetooth connection range, you may not be notified of the disconnection when the wearable device is blocked by sources of interference, such as a microwave oven.
Notifications are delayed when my wearable device disconnects from my phone via Bluetooth
For better user experience, your wearable device will try to reconnect if the Bluetooth connection with your phone disconnects. If the reconnection fails, you'll be notified of the disconnection. It generally takes about 30 seconds for the notification to display.
No notifications when my wearable device disconnects from my phone via Bluetooth
If you disable Bluetooth on your phone, your wearable device will not vibrate to notify you. If you have other issues related to your wearable device being unable to vibrate when disconnected from your phone, make sure that your Huawei Health app is of the latest version, then perform the following:
- Enable Bluetooth disconnection reminder
- After your wearable device is paired with the Huawei Health app, go to the device details screen, and enable Bluetooth disconnection reminder in Device settings. Your wearable device will vibrate when it leaves the phone's Bluetooth connection range.
- Disable Do not disturb or Do Not Disturb
- If the Do Not Disturb or Do not disturb feature is enabled in the Huawei Health app or on your wearable device, your wearable device will not vibrate, even if it disconnects from your phone due to having left the connection range. Turn off all switches for Do not disturb or Do Not Disturb in the Huawei Health app or on your wearable device. Your wearable device will vibrate when it is out of the Bluetooth connection range with the phone.
3. Delete the device and try again.
