The profile picture/nickname set in the HUAWEI FamCare app does not display on my watch

You can only change the profile picture/nickname of a child account in the HUAWEI FamCareapp. The admin's profile picture/nickname cannot be changed.

Here are some possible causes of the issue above:
  1. The watch's network connection is unstable.

    Make sure that your watch is connected to a stable network. To check this, open the HUAWEI FamCareapp, touch Protection, and check whether the watch can be accurately located.

  2. The HUAWEI FamCareapp version is too old.

    Open the HUAWEI FamCareapp, touch Devices, touch in the upper right corner, and touch App updates.

  3. If the profile picture/nickname that you'd like to change contains sensitive content related to pornography, terrorism, or politics, you will not be allowed to use it. Please choose another profile picture/nickname, and try again.
  4. Sometimes when the HUAWEI ID profile picture/nickname changing feature is unavailable due to system maintenance, changes you make to a child's profile picture/nickname will not be saved.

    To check whether the system is under maintenance, go to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Personal on your phone to change the nickname, and check whether a message displays indicating that you cannot change the nickname due to system maintenance.

  5. If the issue persists, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for further assistance.
