Inaccurate positioning in Petal Maps

There are many factors that may undermine the accuracy of positioning in Petal Maps. You can perform the following operations to troubleshoot:

  • Make sure that your phone has a stable network connection. Then swipe down to access Notification Panel, and turn on Location.
  • Swipe down to access Notification Panel, touch and hold down on Location to access the location settings screen, touch Advanced settings, and then touch Wi‑Fi scanning to increase the network positioning accuracy.
  • You can also try moving your phone to an open area to receive a better signal.
  • Try restarting your phone as well.
  • If your phone has a magnetic case, metal case, magnetic suction bracket, or magnetic suction cup, try removing it.
