When the code "CC" is displayed on the touch panel and the Start button flashes red, it indicates that you need to replace the drum cartridge. To do so, go to an official Huawei channel to purchase an original drum cartridge assembly (drum cartridge + toner cartridge) compatible with the printer and replace it in a timely manner.

 

• When replacing the drum cartridge, you also need to replace the toner cartridge. Please purchase the drum cartridge assembly to replace it.
• It is recommended that you go to an official Huawei channel to purchase an original drum cartridge assembly for the printer. If you use a non-original drum cartridge assembly, the printing quality and performance of the printer may not meet the design standards, and void the warranty services provided by the original manufacturer.

1. Press the button on the top cover to open the top cover.

   

2. Hold the inner handle of the old drum cartridge and pull it up at an angle to carefully remove the old drum cartridge assembly.

   

3. Take out the new toner cartridge and drum cartridge from the packaging, insert the new toner cartridge on the new drum cartridge, and lock the toner cartridge.
   

   Clean your clothes or hands promptly if they get stained with toner.

   

4. Shake the newly installed drum cartridge assembly for 2 to 3 seconds to prevent the toner from accumulating.

   

5. Install the new drum cartridge assembly down at an angle and press the top cover down until it is closed.

   

6. Reset the drum cartridge: Press and hold and for 5 seconds until "99" is displayed. After the printer is initialised, the drum cartridge is reset successfully.

   

7. Reset the toner cartridge: Press and hold and for 5 seconds until "66" is displayed, indicating the printer has entered the toner transfer phase. The printer will then generate a buzzing sound that will last for about 100 seconds. When the buzzing sound ends, it indicates that the new toner cartridge has been inserted successfully.
