Fonts displayed on the monitor have colour borders or are prone to aliasing |
Problem
Fonts displayed on the monitor have colour borders or are prone to aliasing.
Cause
A display image consists of many small regular red, green, and blue pixel unit matrices. Fonts or images are presented by controlling the luminance of the red, green, and blue pixels. Therefore, colour borders or aliasing may appear on the edges of fonts, especially when you are close to the screen or zoom in the image when using the camera (as shown in the image below). For monitors of the same size, a smaller resolution indicates a larger pixel unit and poorer display clarity, resulting in more noticeable colour borders and aliasing.
Solution
- It is normal for colour borders and aliasing to appear on fonts. For optimal viewing, it is recommended that you remain about 60 cm away from the monitor and use the recommended resolution.
- If you believe that this issue affects your ability to use the monitor as normal, feel free to contact Huawei after-sales personnel for assistance.
Thanks for your feedback.
