Audio of my HUAWEI WATCH Buds earbuds is coming from the opposite channel

The HUAWEI WATCH Buds use an Auto-switch left & right feature to balance audio across the left and right channels. If the left and right audio channels and touch controls match the earbuds' actual positions in your ears, a prompt tone will play indicating such condition. If you feel that the left and right audio channels or touch controls are opposite, perform the following steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Check and make sure that the Auto-switch left & right feature is enabled. Open the Health app on your phone, go to Devices, open the device details screen, and go to Earbuds > Settings. Alternatively, swipe down on your watch screen and go to Settings > Manage earbuds > More settings, and enable Auto-switch L/R.
  2. Take off and wear the earbuds again. Nod slightly several times within 30 seconds to check if the Tilt your head to correct channels prompt tone plays. If no prompt tone plays, put the earbuds back into the compartments, wait 30 seconds, and then take them out and try again.

The auto-switch feature will not work when you are staying upside down, lying on your back or sideways, shaking your head left and right, remaining still, or moving in a large angle and with a large force.

  3. If the issue persists, try disabling the Auto-switch left & right feature, and wearing the two earbuds according to their left and right position in the earbud compartments.
