Running form data on the watch is different from that on HUAWEI S-TAG or other competing products
- Due to the differences in device hardware specifications and how the devices are worn, it is normal that the data collected by different device sensors may vary. Please rest assured that this does not indicate any issue with your device.
- Algorithms on electronic products are optimised on a continual basis. Running form data monitoring on HUAWEI watches is running the latest version and is proven highly reliable compared with that on competing products and industry gold standards.
If the user still does not accept the solution, guide them to troubleshoot as follows:

If you wear a watch that supports the wrist-based running form feature, you can start a workout in the Huawei Health app and sync it to your watch to record your running form data.
Note: The running form data is not supported when you jump, run in place, or switch the watch between your left and right wrists.
- Check that your personal profile is correct.
Running form algorithm uses your personal information, such as height, weight, and gender, as important input parameters. It is therefore crucial that your profile info is accurate. Check and update it from Huawei Health > Me > Profile.
- Make sure that your watch is worn correctly.
To ensure optimal data accuracy, fasten the strap snugly at least one finger width above your wrist bone for the best possible fit. Make sure that the watch remains secure on your wrist during workouts.

- Running form data is only available when your pace is faster than 10 min/km.
Running form data is unavailable or inaccurate during walks, brisk walks, or slow runs. To have your running form data detected and analysed, you'll need to run at a pace faster than 10 min/km. You can check if your pace meets the requirement in the workout data details by going to Huawei Health > Workout > Exercise records. If your pace does not meet the requirement, start a new workout session and run faster to try again.
