My HUAWEI earphones do not play voice broadcasts for incoming calls

Troubleshoot as follows:

  1. Enable voice broadcast for incoming calls on your device by going to Settings > Voice control > Incoming calls > Earphones only.
     
    • If you select Earphones only in Ring mode, voice broadcast for incoming calls only works when your phone/tablet is connected with your earphones. When there is an incoming call, the ringtone and voice broadcast are played both from the speaker and the earphones.
    • If you select Earphones only in Vibration mode, voice broadcast for incoming calls only works when your phone/tablet is connected with your earphones. When there is an incoming call, the phone/tablet vibrates, and the ringtone and voice broadcast are played from the earphones.
    • When your phone/tablet is in Silent mode, voice broadcast and ringtone for incoming calls are not supported.
  2. Increase the system ringtone volume: On your phone/tablet, go to Settings > Sounds & vibration, and drag the sliders for Ringer, Messages, Notifications to adjust the volume to an appropriate level.
  3. If the issue persists after following the preceding steps and the version of AI Voice is 11.0.32.303 or later, please follow the steps below to uninstall AI Voice and re-enable broadcast for incoming calls:
    1. To uninstall AI Voice, go to Settings > Apps & services > Apps > AI Voice, and touch Uninstall updates in the upper right corner.
    2. Make sure that the version of AI Voice is 11.0.32.303 or later. Then, re-enable broadcast for incoming calls and try again.
    3. If no Uninstall updates option is found when you try to uninstall AI Voice, clear your data, and then re-enable broadcast for incoming calls and try again. To clear data, go to Settings > Apps & services > Apps > AI Voice > Storage > Clear data.
