| The touchscreen on my HUAWEI MateBook E Go does not work after the version 22H2 update is installed |
Problem
After Windows 11, version 22H2 is installed on a laptop, the touchscreen does not work.
Cause
- Cause 1: The touchscreen HID driver is disabled after Windows 11, version 22H2 is installed.
- Cause 2: The Huawei-developed touchscreen service driver is disabled after Windows 11, version 22H2 is installed.
- Cause 3: Touchscreen 1.0.1.29/Touchscreen 1.0.1.31 is not compatible with Windows 11, version 22H2.
Solution
- Solution 1: Press Win+X and go to to check whether the driver is running properly. If not, right-click the driver and select Enable device.

- Solution 2: Go to to check whether HuaweiThpService is running properly. If not, right-click the service and select Start.

- Solution 3: If the preceding driver and service are running properly but the touchscreen still does not work, back up your data and restore the system. For details, see how to use F10 to restore the device to its factory settings. If you want to update your device to Windows 11, version 22H2 after the system restoration, finish the update and then go to to search for the latest touchscreen driver (version 1.0.1.39) and install it.
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. We will do our best to address your needs.
