The LDAC™ transmission protocol needs to be enabled on the playback device connected to the HUAWEI FreeBuds 5i. Enabling LDAC™ can improve audio quality, while possibly affecting the battery life and causing freezes, depending on the operating environment.

The proximity pairing prompt feature is only supported on Huawei devices running system later than EMUI10.

Find My Earphones is only supported on Huawei smart devices running EMUI 11.0 or later. To use the Find My Earphones feature, you'll need to log in to your HUAWEI ID and enable the feature, and then confirm that your earbuds have been previously connected to your phone over Bluetooth. According to Huawei lab data, your earbuds should be no more than 20 meters away from your phone, and the two devices will need to be in a quiet environment free of major obstacles, with the earphones connected to your phone over Bluetooth.
