The keyboard backlight doesn't turn on

Cause

You may have accidentally turned off your keyboard backlight.

Solution

• In the default hotkey mode, press the key to manually adjust the brightness of the keyboard backlight. An onscreen prompt will also appear as you adjust the brightness.
• Alternatively, in Function key mode, press the Fn key so that the indicator on it lights up. Then press the key to manually adjust the brightness of the keyboard backlight. An onscreen prompt will also appear as you adjust the brightness.
  

  If you don't use the keyboard for 15 seconds, the keyboard backlight will automatically turn off. When you use the keyboard, the backlight will return to its previous brightness level.
