The message "Incorrect PIN." displays when paired and connected with an Android phone
- Restart your watch/band, disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your phone, open the Huawei Health app, and pair and connect your watch/band with your phone again.
- Restore your phone's network settings, and try pairing and connecting again.
Touch Settings, search for and select Reset network settings, and touch RESET NETWORK SETTINGS at the bottom of the screen. (Actual interfaces may vary.)
Resetting network settings will reset your WLAN, mobile network, and Bluetooth settings, but will not modify any other settings or delete any data.
- After network settings are reset, go to Settings on your phone, search for and select Apps, and go to Huawei Health > Storage > Clear cache (actual interfaces may vary). Alternatively, uninstall and reinstall the Huawei Health app.
- Uninstall, redownload, and reinstall HMS Core, and try pairing and connecting again.
- Make sure that both the Huawei Health app and HMS Core are running in the background.
Due to system security requirements, the pairing request may not pop up on certain phone models, but will display in the notification panel instead. In this case, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, and touch Pairing request to confirm the pairing. Your watch/band should then be paired with your phone successfully.
